The Morris Plains School District hired Settembrino Architects to complete a district wide Facility Condition Assessment. Among the proposed recommendations was the renovation of the Auditorium at the Morris Plains Borough School. Improvements will include the removal and installation of new carpeting, the repair and refinishing of the existing stage flooring, and reupholstering the existing Auditorium seating on both the main floor as well as the balcony seating area. New perimeter lighting and ceiling lighting pendants will be installed as will new acoustical ceiling and wall panels. The balcony will receive a much-needed updated facade. The stage will receive a new curtain and Stage Lighting/Controls. Interior Renovations are required for ADA Platiorms, among other improvements.
