SECURE ENTRY VESTIBULE

COMPLETION DATE: September 2016
CONSTRUCTION VALUE: $700K

The Morris Plains School District hired Settembrino Architects to complete a district wide Facilities Condition Assessment in order to identify specific areas in need of improvement. Recommendations for proposed Capital Improvement projects were then made to the Board of Education. Security being an area of concern, the Board has decided to begin work with Settembrino Architects on two new Secure Vestibule Entries at both district schools. This will require interior renovations and site/parking improvements as well as the addition of the vestibule itself at Morris Plains Borough School. Similarly, work has also begun to create the secure entrance at the Mountain Way School, which will primarily require interior renovations
