NJ STATE DPMC
NJ FOREST FIRE SERVICE DIVISION C HEADQUARTERS IN MAYS LANDING

Settembrino Architects prepared a design for the State of NJ DPMC NJ Forest Fire Service Division C Headquarters in Mays Landing. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service Division Headquarters current and future purpose is the designing and fabrication research and design for wildland firefighting equipment. The location is accessible from Atlantic Avenue in May’s Landing. 

The existing building has a wrap-around driveway and has parking in the front and rear of the building. There is an additional garage to the west of the building, as well as various small storage buildings North. The proposed addition is to be located where the existing office trailer is located and will be demolished.

The desire for a separation of the public and private portions of the space and an easily identifiable and accessible public entrance is also required of the design. A building addition including three offices and a conference room is required to accommodate the needs of the facility. Finally, the toilet rooms are to be updated as well as the HVAC systems. The current offices and building shell are to remain as existing.
